Ecobrau is an all-in-one, eco-friendly cleaning product, specially designed for the daily cleaning of microbrewery equipment. Effective and easy to use, Ecobrau is an enzyme-based, powdered detergent rather than a traditional caustic-based cleaning solution.
Non-hazardous and non-corrosive, Ecobrau is proving popular with brewers not only for its green credentials but also because the all-in-one detergent can cut costs, working on biofilms as well as all the organic residues encountered during the production of beer.
We asked Calvin, head brewer at Moot Brew Co in Kent, for his feedback on using Ecobrau – and you can read his review below.

But what were the experiences of a brewer in the frontline using eco-friendly Ecobrau in place of a caustic-based cleaning solution? Over to Calvin at Moot Brew…
“We are a 5bbl microbrewery based on Court Farm, Upper Halling near Rochester in Kent. It is a regenerative farm and we work closely with the farmer recycling our waste back into the farm. The majority of our brewery and taproom build was from recycled materials. Our waste water will be reused for spraying crops. Our cardboard is used under the cattle's straw so they dig it into the earth so it composts. Our spent grain, hops and yeast are all mixed in with the farm's compost so it can be used as fertiliser. Alongside all of this, we seek innovative methods and products to minimise our impact on the environment. This is why we use Ecobrau for the majority of our deep cleaning instead of Caustic.”

Update to Our Delivery Charges
We’d like to inform our customers of an upcoming update to our delivery terms, effective 5th January 2026.
Due to continued increases in transport and logistics costs, we have reviewed our delivery structure to ensure we can maintain a reliable and efficient service while continuing to offer value wherever possible.
Updates:
Free delivery will now apply to orders over £450 (excl. VAT)
Standard delivery will be made within 3 working days
Next working day delivery will be available at a cost of £75 (excl. VAT)
AM delivery, when requested, will incur a fee of £50 (excl. VAT) per order
Deliveries to the Highlands and Islands are price upon application
These changes allow us to continue working with trusted carriers and maintain the level of service and reliability you expect from us.
