This dried ale yeast is of Belgian origin. Selected for its ability to ferment Belgian style beers, it can produce fruity and spicy flavours. Depending on the temperature of fermentation, a range of aromas can be produced from darker fig notes through to lighter tropical and banana. Typically suited to Belgian beers of all colours.

Perfect for brewing Hefeweizen styles, Banana Split performs best between 19 to 24°C and offers alcohol tolerance of up to 12% ABV.

Ideal for Pale Ales, West Coast IPAs, and New England IPAs, this versatile strain performs best between 22 to 26°C and offers alcohol tolerance of up to 15% ABV.
